How to Manage Your Thought Process to Keep Negative Thoughts Away

You are probably thinking to yourself.  How can I hire someone to watch my business for me for no money?  Well, you can but the person that I am referring to is a virtual watchman.  The virtual watchman if properly employed can pay great dividends in your business and life.

Imagine that you have a guard in your mind.  His or her job will be to either keep out of your mind all negative, destructive or harmful thoughts and to let in all creative, helpful and positive thoughts.  The job of this virtual guard will also be to change the way that thoughts are stated to make them based on truth instead of untruth.

For example yesterday I made it a point to watch my thoughts related to my business and here are some of the negative statements that the virtual watchman recorded.     

1. I am always crashing my computer.
2. I will never understand key word optimization.    
3. I can’t figure out how to zip a file on my computer.
4. Finding an idea for an article will be hard. 
5. It is hard to find time to watch these business tutorials.  
 
Now the watchman will analyze these statements to see if they are true.  The watchman will also restate the phrases to make them more true and accurate. 

1. I do crash my computer at times but most of the time my computer runs smoothly and when I do crash it I will always find a way to get going again. 

2. It is true that I do not understand key word optimization well but I have not focused on this topic enough to know much about it.  I am still learning and I am sure that I will find information regarding this topic if I search for it.

3. I do not know how to “zip” a file but I am sure that I can ask my friend how or find an answer to this problem on the internet.    

4. Finding an idea for an article will not be that difficult.  There a lot of problems that people have in business and all I need to do is base my articles on solutions to those problems.

5. True it does take time to watch tutorials or take courses but we all have 24 hours to divide up as we choose.  Also time watching the tutorials will probably be time well spent. 

Notice how the virtual watchman or your inner voice was able to take each negative and inaccurate  statement and reframe it or restate it so that it reflects a more truthful statement that can be directed at your subconscious mind to help you quickly achieve your goals in business and life.

This process of thinking is simple but extremely effective. It is one of the secrets to   how successful business owners become successful.
